Symposium Technical Tours

As part of the TDM 2025 Symposium, a series of technical tours will be held on the final day of the conference (11th December), offering participants the opportunity to explore key transport initiatives and infrastructure projects in Sydney.

Delegates will be able to select from four engaging tours during the registration process:

  • A 1–1.5 hour cycling tour of Sydney’s City Centre, showcasing recent improvements in active transport infrastructure.
  • A longer 3–3.5 hour cycling tour of Green Square, one of Australia’s largest urban renewal areas, highlighting integrated transport and urban planning.
  • A guided tour of the Sydney Central Station redesign, led by Aurecon, offering behind-the-scenes insight into one of Australia’s most significant rail infrastructure upgrades.
  • A visit to the Transport Management Centre, where participants can learn how real-time traffic and public transport operations are managed across New South Wales.

These tours provide a unique, hands-on learning experience and a chance to see transport planning and operations in action.

Please see Technical Tours page for further information.

Please be advised that site visit availability is limited and subject to cancellation or modification.
